Questions
Does this tell me if a product is halal?
No. We only read the ingredient list and tell you whether pork, alcohol or other ingredients of concern appear. ‘Not found’ never means halal-certified. Look for a halal certification mark on the package, or ask the maker.
How accurate is the translation?
We replace known Korean food words using a fixed dictionary (no paid translation service). Unknown words stay in Korean in gray, and we show what share of the text we could translate. Always check the package, especially for allergies.
Can I search in English?
Product names in Korean public data are in Korean, so search with the Korean name (copying it from the package works) or just scan the barcode.
The product doesn't come up.
Public Korean food data and open databases don't have every product, especially new ones. Paste the Korean ingredient list and it's analyzed the same way.
Is my data saved?
Camera video and pasted text are processed in your browser and not sent to our server. Only the barcode digits or search words are used to look up products. Your recently viewed list stays in this browser.
