Indications (approved label)
비타민 B12 결핍으로 인한 거대적아구성 빈혈과 관련된 다발성신경염의 치료
Dosage and administration (approved label)
성인 : 히드록소코발라민으로서 1일 1회 5,000ug을 근육주사 또는 정맥주사한다.
임상적 반응에 따라 저용량으로 치료를 지속한다.
Precautions (approved label)
1. 경고
매일 세잔 이상 정기적으로 술을 마시는 사람이 이 약이나 다른 해열진통제를 복용해야 할 경우 반드시 의사 또는 약사와 상의해야 한다. 이러한 사람이 이 약을 복용하면 위장출혈이 유발될 수 있다.
2. 다음 환자에는 투여하지 말 것.

1) 비타민 B12와 그 유사체에 과민증 환자
2) 악성종양 환자(조직발육에 대한 비타민 B12의 작용으로 세포의 증식 속도가 증가하 지만 그 위험율에 대한 자료는 확실하지 않다.)
3. 다음 환자에는 신중히 투여할 것.
비타민 B12와 그 유사체의 투여후에 나타나는 면역성 과민증은 매우 드물게 치명적일 수 있으므로 토양성 알레르기(천식 습진)를 나타내는 환자에는 투여하지 않는 것이 바람직하다.
4. 부작용
1) 과민증 : 드물게 가려움증, 두드러기, 홍반, 일과성의 발진, 쇽등이 일어날 수 있으므 로 이러한 경우에는 투여를 중지한다.
2) 피부 : 여드름이 생길 수 있다.
3) 기타 : 요의 착색이 나타날 수 있다.
5. 적용상의 주의
근육주사시 동통을 일으킬 수 있다.
