Dosage and administration (approved label)
1. 수혈세트를 사용하여 정맥으로 투여한다.
2. 사용량은 임상소견과 원인에 따라 결정된다.
Precautions (approved label)
1. 혈액형을 확인하고 변색 및 용혈, 용기파손 등의 이상 유무를 확인한 후, 수혈해야 한다.
2. 수혈로 인한 부작용은 아래와 같다.

1) 알레르기성 반응(Allergic Reactions): 신선동결혈장을 수혈받은 환자의 1∼3%에서 두드러기가 나타난다. 생명을 위협할 정도의 아나필락시성 반응(anaphylactic reactions)도 나타날 수 있다.
2) 수혈전파성감염(Transfusion-Transmitted Infection): 사람보존혈액 수혈의 경우와 마찬가지로 후천성면역결핍증, B형간염, C형간염, 파르보바이러스 감염증 등이 신선동결혈장 수혈로 전파될 수 있다.
3) 용혈(Hemolysis): ABO 부적합 신선동결혈장이 수혈된 경우 항-A나 항-B의 역가가 높으면 이들이 수혈자의 적혈구를 파괴하게 된다.
4) 체액 과부하: 심한 혈액응고인자 결핍증을 신선동결혈장의 수혈로 치료하고자 하면 혈액량의 과부하가 일어날 수 있다.
3. 수혈 후 환자의 혈액응고상태를 프로트롬빈 시간(prothrombin time), 부분 트롬보프라스틴 시간, 혈액응고인자 정량 등을 통하여 추적하는 것이 중요하다.
4. 사용 시 30∼37℃에서 해동 후 3시간 이내에 사용한다. 다만, 해동 후 1∼6℃에서 보관하는 경우 24시간까지 사용할 수 있다.
