Dosage and administration (approved label)
o 정제
성인 : 구연산비스마스칼륨으로서 1회 600mg 1일 2회 아침, 저녁 식전 30분에 경구투여한다.(깨물어서는 안되며 소량의 물로 삼킨다.)
또한, 1회 300mg 1일 4회 식전 30분 및 저녁식후 2시간에 투여할 수도 있다.

이 약 투여 전후 30분 동안은 음식물이나 음료수를 섭취해서는 안된다.
연령, 증상에 따라 적절히 증감한다.
o 액제
성인 : 구연산비스마스칼륨으로서 1회 300mg(5ml)을 물 15ml에 희석하여 1일
4회 식전 30분 및 저녁식후 2시간에 경구투여한다.
이 약 투여 전후 30분 동안은 음식물이나 음료수를 섭취해서는 안된다.
연령, 증상에 따라 적절히 증감한다.

1. 다음 환자에는 투여하지 말 것.

2. 부작용
1) 치료초기에 드물게 동통, 구역, 구토, 위장작열감 등이 나타날 수 있다.
2) 황화비스마스의 형성에 의하여 대변이 변색 또는 검은색으로 변할 수 있다.
3. 상호작용

1) 테트라사이클린계 항생물질의 흡수를 저해할 수 있으므로 병용투여하지 않는
다.
2) 제산제에 의해 효과가 감소될 수 있으므로 이 약 투여 전후 30분 동안에는
제산제를 투여하지 않는다.
4. 임부에 대한 투여
임신중의 투여에 대한 안전성이 확립되어 있지 않으므로 임부 또는 임신하고
있을 가능성이 있는 부인에는 투여하지 않는 것이 좋다.
5. 수유부에 대한 투여
투약중에는 수유를 하지 않도록 주의한다.
6. 소아에 대한 투여
소아에는 투여하지 않는 것이 바람직하다.
7. 기타(액제)
이 약 투여시 일시적으로 혀가 변색될 수 있다.
